Just got in, front end feeling a tad funny .. front offside shock at an odd angle, top mount looks 'wrong' .. can't get a pic to show it .. but Juliet reckons a set of Terrafirma's +2" might be OK to put on, so who am I to argue?

sorted me ickle starting problem ( air leak on the return pipe joint )
sorted me weird oil leak ( rocker top gasket creased behind water pump )
done a little more upholstery work
and smoked the neighbours to death with it :D:D:D
 
Well were doin start
Fitted steering guard then snorkel then fitted new track rod ends then fitted new rear tension arm bolts and bushes. Needs new wheel baring so greased and tightened it till get round to doing it also changed all oils and filters!! Phew busy evening lOl
 
took a picture of it since all the work i done last night to it! Well chuffed! Now jsut need to change the passenger side wheelbaring and its done

re-bushed the trailing arms, then removed the two spares (only ever used for ballast) on the pickup back and replaced with one matching modular steel with same size spare as the ones used!....

so now have two std disco 1 steel rims with mint/unused 215/65r16 Insa Desert track tyres to sell! a tenner each with the rims I'm thinking
 
Went and pick up my new tyres I got off ebizzle, had thems fitted

Fixed my radio with a clever little thingy majig wotsit which uses ur cb Ariel and splits the signal, so can use it for radio aswell, never been betterer

Fitted my new dyneema winch rope :D

Um not sure they wer already on it when I bought it, I don't think so tho as they don't look like they have been altered

Heh, just been out to look at my arches and they look more curved, over the top. No worries, interested 'cos we're shortly going to fit some larger tyres and will need something similar. I guess when the arches are cut to accommodate tyres it doesn't matter, they can follow any line you want .. ;)
