Fixed my gear problems, Grub screw in the selector had come loose...

Then discovered why my MPG has been down these last few days Anyone got an Injector pump for a 200TDi??

I need one too, mine is just about dead. Combination of changing fuel to veg oil and turning the fuelling up at the same time has killed it.

Not surprising really, probably was asking a bit much of a 20 year old pump.

Mine is ****ing deisel out of the back of it

got a steering guard for my disco today

Changed the rear diff of the tdi S3 to a defender one and cut me head open on the fooked garage door in the process of fetching spanners and sockets out me toolbox :doh:!! Just need to get front one in before putting it in 4wd!

Next job is sort that fooking fooked garage door before i do meself a serious injury

Managed to drop my 200tdi and boxes onto the mountings all by myself, it's now fitted and I can get on with getting it running...at last..

Cant get the front prop back together though so I'll take it off and do it in the workshop.

Looked at it out of my living room window, wondering what I should do next...the larger intercooler or the oil pressure gauge!

Sorted out the play in my throttle on the series, and just finished installing a CB radio.

just fitted 265/75 special tracks to my standard height disco....and yes the grinder did need to come out looks awesome now though

I waxyoiled mine and painted the bumpers with some mat black paint as they had weathered, then hoovered out the battery box and gave that a coat of paint and some rustproofing. Whenever I touch it something will go wrong with it so I am waiting.

replaced the seal on the ball swivel ...........what a biaaaaatch of a job that was needless to say its now another of the jobs needed to be done sorted.now just got to replace all of the bushes cant wait!!!!!!!!!

stripped the carpets and sound deadening, repaired two mahosive holes in the floor, washed the carpets, put them back in but made it so the next time they soak up all the mud i dont have to take out the seats to wash em

Fitted new front diff, replaced steering drop arm (don't ever want to do that job again what a pain in the ass job ended up having to angle grind the bitch off) fitted new steering guard that I picked up at billing, next I've gotta replace cv,s and fit new hd drive flanges and hopefully that will cure the clunking from the front end, if not I think I may need to replace the gear box All in all not a bad days work

hi,mines been clunking sometimes at the front sometimes at the rear and other times both,it has been confirmed my gearbox is fooked,so yip it could be urs mate,over last few months ive completely serviced mine,waxoiled behind my light units,wheel arches,de egred it,decated it,stripped painted and resealed sunroof(bugger of a job)still got huggins to do the list is endless,but thats the joys of having a landy lol

fitted a new rad to me p38 today what a hell of a job , but got it done

Stripped the front left hub yesterday, ready to remove the swivel today. To my surprise the 6 nuts and bolts came off fairly easily (5/16" Whitworth), with just a little tap of the lump hammer on a short ring spanner. Everything came apart ok till the actual swivel seal. Whoever put it in used lots of some sort of rubber gasket goo. Forced it out in the end, then decided to mend the splash guard while the space was clear. Off to Middlewich next to buy a box of seals and gaskets, then pray for a nice dry sunny day!
When that's all done, same again for the right side. Then perhaps I can keep some oil in the swivels. At least the tyres should be grateful.
Moral: never throw away your Whitworth spanners!

I've got hub bearings to do today oh joy...

Been productive old axle breathers thrown away, replaced with push fit connectors then on to an engine flush + remove crankcase breather & fit new... Last but not least drop old oil & filter, replace with new..... Tidy up then off for a well earned beer

200tdi in, just need to connect all the pipes! New clutch in with rear crank oil seal and the like, clutch feels lovely now! Buttery smooth! It's been a good day.
