Fitted my new Steering Guard and mounted the winch onto the bumper - just need to wire up the electrics now!

Changed me handbrake shoes, took a run intae town and nearly shat mesel' on the way back!!!
Ah was drivin' along the road, as ye do, sittin' at around 60 along a straight. Was gettin' near to some really tight 'S' bends and the engine wouldn't slow down.... infact it was gettin' faster!!!! Kinda got meel' in a flap as ah could see a pick-up wi' big trailer comin' the other way so ah turned the ignition off fearin' the worst! Ah got out and checked under the bonnet, nowt bad lookin' there... opened the drivers door and noticed me throttle pedal was down tae the floor. Ah checked the IP and all was fine that end, turns out it was me feckin' mat holdin' the pedal down!!!!!!:doh:

Copper gasket. No wonder!! I forgot you had put one of those in. Stick a composite gasket in there and be done with it. I'd also check the head and block as well as that is a big hole.
Actually. Get a full head gasket set and do them all.....manifold as well
