removed the side step an stupid plastic trim from the drivers side sill, and took a grinder to the rust. little bit more than i thought but easily repairable with some patches. managed to get the first patch on then it started to rain so il carry on tomorrow!! might actually get round to fixing the front wing back on properly aswell :doh:
 
fitted new suspension, dislocation cones, extended brake hoses and bump stops, cleaned and painted the diff guards and fettled the exhaust so it sits level
 
replaced poxy little spring in passenger door lock mechanism....not advisable when its feckin freeeeeezin:der: will wait till its a bit warmer to do drivers door
 
Ah was gantae change me handbrake shoes tonight. By the time ah got fed, got the bus intae me garage...

took off the solenoid and starter motor, replaced new solenoid with old and put another starter motor in.Fook me its running :D:D:D
 
Well, i made up a very nice throttle linkage for my 2.5 di transit engine and fitted it. whilst i was doing this i made especially sure i didnt lose the little spring which locks the ball and socket joint together.
lovely job, then i knocked the spring off the wing!
and spent a pointless hour trying to find it AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

finished cleaning my doors ready for paint primed the insides and waited and waited and waited,,, note to myself put heater in workshop next time:doh: s71 glad to hear you got it running:)

I emptied another 6 sacks of wood out the back of mine. It's like the fookin tardis. I took 6 sacks out yesterday plus todays 6 and there's still another 4 to go. The ballast is using it all week as the chav mobile's in the bodyshop. I had a nasty feeling that she might have tried to roll it with half ton of wood in the back.:eek:

Yer needs one o them magnetic trays, great for when you knock yer bits off the wing, they stay in the tray...simples
 
nipped out with jnr and the car was so slow I didnt get outta 3rd gear......whipped off the head .........these are the pics :(
