Got a nice new knobbly tyre after wrecking a perfectly good one last weekend, Ignored the ****ing rain & changed the flexible hose & bled it so now the rear brakes work. Sorted (bodged) the diff lock mechanism, a missing pin from the u shaped thing was making it mostly useless. Went for a bit of a drive, got stuck a few times & noticed the drivers side window keeps jamming half way up. I suppose i"ll be having a look at that next weekend then.

Took most of the dashboard out to fix electrics and source a leak....and found these.....those that know what they are should have found memories

I cut through the hinge with a grinder so as I cut the heads off the screws, pulled hinges off and what was left of the screws undid by hand:)

Fitted power steering reservoir and spare master cylinder and bled brakes , out in the daylight for a drive round at last:)

Are you sure you are going to sell it now it's going to look good soon Pete.

Sold mate, just getting it ready for mot then it'll be gone. Not far away though, a mate who lives close by is having it, he's been looking for a good one for a while and the chassis , bulk head etc is mint on this one.

I can concentrate on getting the rest of mine painted blue then:D

Put the winter wheels away today, refitted the normal ones. Just watch it start snowing next week!
Then I had the idea that I would use the 12s towing socket at the back to power my T-Max compressor, just to get the tyre pressures right. Now I've got to find the fuse which has probably blown.
And before anybody asks, no, I'm not going to say what pressures I've set, statements like that can start wars!

Gave the wagon a wash in the boootfiful weather :)
Fitted new spring slider units and sanded back and painted rear crossmember as it was getting flakey pealy!

After fitting the Mantec wheel carrier yesterday and adjusting the door latch today, there is ZERO play in the rear door when it's closed, Success :D Checked levels under bonnet too :)

Changed brake fluid, spotted slightly loose front right wheel bearing and front turrets looking a bit scabby and need changing - one step forward - two back!
