still welding chassis seems like I weld one hole and find another two. payed £2500 for the landy £1300 for a defender engine god nows how much for the weld wire and gas not even drove it yet.

Me and the old fella took the old girl for a run to Tamworth to collect some front seats that I won off Flea bay

He kept saying how noisy it was inside and that the seats were uncomfortable
But that did not stop him nodding off on the way back home :D

Loving the defender more and more

Driven it about with the windows and rooves open in an attempt to dry the interior out (was going out in the car anyways).

Freed the pin in the tow hitch, removed trailer stabiliser bracket and raised the hitch (4 hours  everything was rusted solid and I've got through my entire stock of cutting discs ).

took the bumper off and removed the lower plastics and found a gremlin behind the bumper to refit the corners

found the wiring for the second horn and renewed the spade connectors on the alarm sounder. and then switched the dickie seats side to side so the belt buckle can now clip away properly

Nearly finished adapting my roof bike rack to a tow ball bike rack. Much safer for both me and the bike if it's lower down and more accessible :)

Watched my mate fit rear axle and new brake pipes to it:)

Looks good back on its wheels for the first time in years:rolleyes:

Replaced drivers door lock cos my ****part one was doing my head in, sorted the heater so I don't die of hypothermia on the way into work and replaced the seal on my split piece military doors with the right part number, what a difference that makes already

Had a spare hour so fitted my new injectors. The copper washers i got were pump:mad: so fitted the old ones again..take her fur a test drive later. Removed all my drivers carpet and bulkhead rubber. Trying to locate the source of water?....and undone a bolt under the dash for the door stay bracket and listened to it rattle down bulkhead....oops
