Changed the fuel filter, first time I've done that - didn't want to start at first, but an extended churn over and it caught and ran - phew!

Ya don't want to be churning it for more than 30 seconds unless you like replacing starter motors for a pastime :)
You need to leave the ignition switched on for 3 minutes to purge the system

Mike at dynachip remaps them for £250.
Anyway you said yours goes like stink and have no need for it to go faster

well fast enough for me,

got the tuning box to get rid of the flat spot and is also suppose to help with the mpg

once i've got the egr blanks done will test it out so have a base figure to go by

then fit the tuning box, brim the tank , won't take any notice of the onboard mpg display

has 10 x different settings, think number 2 should be ok

have the inboard switch to also install, eco and power settings

I put my PSI powerbox on eBay and it's currently at £26 - it's set up for a Discovery 2 so probably wouldn't work on a D3 otherwise it would have been a cheap option.

the synergy boxes come out £180 quid, can be transferred with an update to landy to landy

had one fitted to my TD4 and transformed the engine

got rid of the flat spot and smoothed out the revs

will be interesting to see after the egr blank how the engine is

Fitted my 50p near side headlight :D Sounds like the exhaust gasket is blowing which is an ar5e as I was in craddocks earlier and could have picked one up
And also put a new bulb in my front fog light switch so it lights up when you turn the lights on.

I get to post in here and the range rover section, discovery today disscoverd iv got an intermittent starter looks like the solinoid so I'll order a repair kit.

If that's the "best" pad, I would seriously be thinking about replacing the discs at the same time.

Discs all checked out OK no run out at all and only a small lip on the outer near side disc iv made a list for my next spannering session most important is the intermittent non starter not even a click then after 3 or 4 turns of the key, life and the starter spins have orderd a sonleniod repair kit

I can safely say and i know this is a big risk by pointing it out.... everything now works great on my disco!! i have to now turn my spanner sessions to fixing my old car to sell or sorting out my mrs ****roen c3

The minimum thickness figures for the discs are given in RAVE, but if there's only a small lip, well, it's up to you.
