cut the holes for the lights in the existing panels and plated and filled where the old lights were, absalute tw*t off a job and i wouldnt advise doing it as streanthening the rear door support up is proving to be a nightmare ,and geting the lights seated flush is proved to be near imposible,i am thinking of getting some td5 rear quarters and making hybrid rear quarters cutting the bonding on the cornerr panels and joining them together, all in all i bit off a little bit more that i could chew, well thats what happens when a 22yr old is let loose with a grinder lol

i wouldnt do it again lesson learned, cut up hands ,half a tin off p38,and one ****ED OFF other half lol

Looks pretty good in the pictures, sounds like a arse of a job though, its amazing how much changing the rear lights completely changes look of the back, did u do the wing mirrors to ?

Well I think it looks really great as it is !

Let's face it it's never going to look like a real 5, but I reckon it looks like a VERY skilfully modified TDi - and what's wrong with that?

The looks of a TD5 with the reliability and economy of a TDi 200 - sounds like the best of all worlds to me :D:D:D:D

thanx guys, its easyer to start picking at the ruff bits when its sat infront of ya,tbh i never wanted it to be a flawless 5 replica, thats why ive done it on a 3dr,i just like the fact it allways commands that second look, its going to need some love again soon as with the off roading its been getting scratched and knocked but thats what its for
