What did you do with your Range Rover today

Topped up the screenwash (that’s a big old reservoir isn’t it?! Took a whole container)…then filled her up with diesel for the first time since purchase. Christ! And I though the X5 I’d been borrowing cost a lot to fuel!!
Go on shock us.. how much for a full tank. Coz no one here will ever afford to do it pretty much soon..

Red Rover did the daily commute again today, reliably running daily at the moment. Touch wood.

I also had a near miss with something horrible: we've got an Ejoke that's been parked up outside for a while (broken timing chain). I had to lift the bonnet, but managed to escape after that and have nothing more to do with the thing. Phew!

You touched an Ejoke:eek: I would prescribe a week in quarantine and some tinkering with a proper rangie and you may just survive:D

Hope it's a wire off or a duff sensor and not lack of coolant:eek:
Thanks Data, it was the wire coming off the terminal of the sender, so just cleaned it up for luck and pushed it back on. Everything now working as normal, I wish all fixes were that easy.
Being that the VM is reputedly rather fragile as regards overheating I am a bit anal about checking levels - I do have the level sensor fitted in the expansion tank, and it works - but all the same, it gets checked out every 2nd or 3rd trip, just because.

I have one of these that i got for my vans joints i was hoping it will fit the p38 ones, i can always make up the correct size bit in the workshop.

Been told they are good on p38. I’m looking at dha kit for £50. Bits are for those blummin jeep things but it’s the giant C press I need mainly

Oof, bloody hell.
Is it petrol or diesel? Petrol will start going off in a month, at least with diesel you get about a year!
Is a dirty diesel, but I'd be lucky if that lasts me 3 weeks. I normally need a tank and a half a month.

Filled all my vehicles up just as the prices started to rise, only just had to refill the Transit and one P38. I never let them go below half full, even so they both cost well over €100 to fill:eek: Not doing many miles at the moment, since Covid we only shop once a fortnight and trips to the builders merchants are more carefully planned to minimise the visits.
