What did you do with your Range Rover today

Finally got a gearbox and torque converter for it.
Just a gearbox oil cooler to order tomorrow and il finally get my RR done

Started up this afternoon, took a few seconds for the oil light to go out, brought a frown to my face!

Decided to wash it.

It failed, stupid rotary gearbox .....seems it has thrown a wee fit and needs help.
It can go on a big yellow taxi tomorrow to the dealers.

Oh yeah, got that sorted.

Annoying thing is I would have had a butchers myself, but the RAVE manual does not show how to get into the floor console, I eventually found it on the powerfuluk you tube site. But by then I had got the AA out to look and arrange the recovery to the dealer, plus it had got dark. However this is still all under the warranty cover.

So no wucking furries.

Yep know that feeling, will be my drive for the time it takes to get fixed..LOL.

But it needs a nice drive out.

Yep , it exists. The WSM for a 4.4TDV8 2011 MY , But the one I have as it is not a LR supplied download, I thought it must be missing the one file for the floor console.

BUT , No ! I paid for Topix access for a week and lo and behold it appear even LR have forgotten to add the Floor console into the 2011 MY Workshop manual. It has a hyperlink highlighted but it does nowt.

Got to love them.

What section? I need to look in case I have something missing then. You say Floor console do you mean the center and surrounding?

@neilly I have the 501-12 section but funny enough I don't have a sheet to show how to remove the top/ rotary knob

Not sure how you have filed your stuff but mine appears in "body & Paint" section.

Maybe missed it when looking through TOPIX, and storing in a safe place
