Ant, your chav is showing
Embarrasingly so.....

I am a true Surrey Lad whose Father is retired RAF and he talks like your typical RAF WWII Stereotype, Bally Tally ho - was, me, Tinge, Bertie, Harry and Strangly Brown barrelling down the Runway, Engines tuned for maximum smoke, Willy on the Wireless reporting into Blighty as we launched into the big blue....etc etc

He flew Harrier in the Falklands giving the Argies a bit of British boom boom....

Unfortunatly I have inherited the Hugh Grant Accent from him, yet I look like someone you would cross the road from even during the day!!

I get that from my mums side of the family, she is 6'2" and built like a brick wall, similarly her brothers were all over 6' and all played Rugby....

I stand a glorious 6'3" with a 56" chest and I shave my hair short....yet I speak very softly and with the Queens English and proper elocution.....a real paradox to see!

You sound like a lot of my lads.

Well today has been one of little improvements :)

Firstly I took out the drivers seat and stripped it down ready to retrim, only to find the reason for what I was doing (heated seat not working) to be a broken connector, so soldered it all back together and repaired. Put it all back together, fixed the switch bank and not it works perfectly! So the new seat trim I bought is no longer needed lol.

Then I removed the light guards (now for sales)

And then I stripped down the back tailgate and fixed my washer jet problem with a new mon return valve.

Ordered my new valve gaskets to be done at some point.

And then it's going to a garage on Tuesday for a new steering rack :)

Transmission fluid/filter change, engine oil/filter change, fog light replaced and near side mirror fixed. Just a front wheel bearing left to do and I'll finally be happy enough for my wife to take my girls pony where ever she desires. :) Who knows maybe I'll get some bouncy bouncy for my efforts

Got it loaded onto a recovery truck,

It blew the head gasket on the a55 north Wales on Friday.. Bloody marvellous .. So off it goes the the land rover centre at Speke and if lucky will only need head skimming and new gasket, but I fear the worst as the engine got very very hot.. Temp gauge was reading normal.. Till the engine died ....
