Gonna go pick up my Honey! They've had her for three weeks, had a laundry list of faults and Mr Bix is only getting charged £800! I'll post a picture of her (working at last!!) Majesty.
All praise Bixs bank account

Limped home blowing clouds of smoke. Probably looked worse in my rear view mirror than it actually was but it was night and there was a car up my arse with headlights on full beam.

Used Buttercup to go and get some more chassis paint for the 90.
As expected the cow has got the hump with all the love being diverted elsewhere, fecking rear wiper now wont.:(

My Cruse control was not working... as well as the mirrors
Traced it to the wires under passenger seat pulled the seat...the bolts holding the seat were so tight I had to use a punch and heat gun to get them loose
Found the problem was in the fuse block under the seat
One of the fuse connectors had come loose and backed out
Got it back together
And now all working
While the seat was out
Changed the seat switch with one out of a discovery 1
All functions working now
Yeaaa!!

Put the battery on charge as she has not been used much for a while and put a wet paper towel over the pigeon-present on the bonnet for an hour before wiping it off.

Here is an email i sent last night
to data'!

Evening Keith, I agree the weather is much more agréable.
The range rover is still at the recovery garage, they can't find a garage who will take it on before the August holiday rush... So....... It'll be about four weeks I reckon before I see it again and it'll end up with a flat battery in a carpark somewhere with them ringing me to tell me they can't start it.... It's a total shambles and I wish my French was good enough to do a powerful letter of complaint.
My worst fear is it ends up being damaged and no-one knows anything about it!!! I just regret ringing them and I can't even get hold of the idiot who works in the local office... Frustrated and cut off..... That's where I am right now....
I've spoken to different people from AXA who no idea where and or when anything is taking place.
I've been asked to ring MY own assistance to move MY own car because they can't self coordinate..
Following conversation....
Assistance- oh your English, I'll pass you onto someone who speaks English so you can understand!!!!
International assistance- so the car is going to England?
Me- why would it?
Assistance- because your English?
Me- the car is French reg and we live here!!
Assistance- then why are you talking to me?
Me- I've no idea, your colleagues said you could speak English and we're going to make it clearer for me...
I'm then passed onto a lady in Paris.
Assistance- hi there I will help you,
Your car will go to montmouro? (Spelling)??
Me- excellent thank you.=progress??
Call ended. Five minutes afterwards.
Axa- have you rang assistance?
Me- yes, the car is going to montmouro!
Axa- no it's not it's going to a garage at 17210..
So, there I am in the phone with AXA and an associate...
Me- so we are all agreed what is going on now?
Axa- and co'- yes Mr Piercy.
The AXA people exchange my phone number between each other witch is incorrect.... So that is corrected.
Five minutes after the conversation has finished, another phone call from a garage which is near Bordeaux.
Recovery garage- we'll be with you in 45 minutes, where is the car going tomorrow?
Me- how do I know? Didn't AXA tell you?
Garage- no, you need to ring AXA tomorrow and ask for the destination of the car and they will ring us with the destination.
Me- WTF??...
So, they collected the car and i explained to the guy after he ratchet strapped the eyelet on the chassis, that he cannot do that because it will lower itself down and become unsecured... My stomach was churning.....
So Sharon rang the recovery place the next afternoon after i was cut off for being slightly upset the total bull that going on.
The garage said the car was going to Renault In Bordeaux at reignac.
That was the last I'd heard until today when AXA rang to tell me that the car had a problem with the tracking and couldn't be moved????
I asked her to explain and she said it was an automated return call???
Slightly upset again I rang the recovery garage who said the car had left for reignac.
I rang reignac Renault who said the car wasn't there......
There is a lot of details I've left out as not to burn your imagination out trying to keep up with this total balls up.
I have no replacement vehicle I was supposed to get either... Luckily I work from home and have three cars.. but that's really not the point... Sorry to bail all that water out onto your screen......
Sitting back down....
Mark.

It's a comedy? I'm going today to the garage to make sure the call about some damage I got yesterday isn't true.....

Sad to say there is a very good chance that it will be written off.:(
You have email

After murdering a wild boar and smashing the front bumper, plastics and bending the Aircon rad I decided to ask the insurance to help and being fully comp it seemed like a good idea....
Boy was I effing wrong......

Ah well, you fell for our "never pay" policy. Great if you don't have to make a claim but you had to make a claim and, well, there you go.

it was lifted over this fence into this area by a fùcking fork truck... Yes a fork truck.. twªts.... The guy wasn't even bothered when I told him it was there for an inspection.. he said if we've broken anything your insurance can sort it.. numb fūcking çøck end... they've dented the exhaust box and squeezed the fuel tank with the forks... I hope the suspension is still working fine.

That looks very much like a Casse Auto, (breakers yard)
Go reclaim it while you still can. You have valid grounds to do so based on the damage being done.

I'm curious how they could get the car over the fence with a fork lift truck??
