What did you do with your Range Rover today

Finally got round to painting brake calipers (Chavvy I know !)....

All door pillars are off and ready for second attempt of covering but I don't think I have the aptitude, tools or correct materials....just to make it more difficult....

Gun rack fitted...

Dog guard fitted...

All you need is a sharp knife, some spray on glue and a gentle touch... same applies to re-trimming the door pillars. ;)

Yesterday replaced the heater return coolant pipe (had pinhole leak) and fitted new shiny boot badge. Wouldn't fancy doing anything today,it's awful outside. Next job is to replace high pressure power steering pump hose before MOT next month.

Well,

I wrote out the pending advert to sell my beloved 2001 P38 30th anniversary, sad sad day but a new life in France is awaiting me in Oct & i just couldn't put it off any longer.

Best keep it that way as you need another 43 posts to sell anything on here;)

thanks for that, its going on the main road at work with some notices up in it. i was offered 2K at a garage who said they will get 4.5K all day long.

Although part of me thinks i missed a trick when i sold my soft dash classic some years ago & think if i dry store it, it will be an appreciating asset in 10 years time ?

Nice tidy job there!

Yup - lovely - if I did it I would have burned out the car and the workshop for good measure.

Was working on the drive... sheds to full of useful things, or **** as the good lady would say !
The tank is full of diesel... so not to much chance of fire.. although I did burn myself at one point :( Welding upside down under your car is so much fun !! :D

Does this mean that now you've got to go out and buy a gun

and a dog?
:D

Did the Rad, water pump, thermostat and belts and ordered a new fan coupling as its rattling about like nobody's business.
There was no air con belt fitted and i now know the reason why! The compressor's knackered! Apart from that it was pretty straight forward.
Also did one of the lower tailgate latch's.
Think the battery's next on the list.
