I always double pressed, ( it is a 2011) which I understand is different to the earlier models on fob presses and times pressed for double locking.

It's sensible and secure, the problem comes when something breaks and the lock falls and doesn't unlock, you're not able to open from inside, leaving some inventive ways of getting the door open again

So you never double press the fob?

Cheers

we dont use superlock

But rather than the superlock M likes the function of only opening the drivers door, has to have double press to open others.

- Now have the fairy light DRLs, they look naff..LOL will have to see what the scandinavian or Canadian options look like.

Not sure what other options there are but our headlights are the DRL. M switched it on when they changed the law here about having to drive with headlights.

Yes I have
My advice is you lot not to do it - I do daft things all the time :D
System is linked to many things that could trouble you as the electrics age. I don’t think the added security is worth the risk - be lucky make off with one of these tubs on a good day.

MarJon is all still there ;)

Not so much the added security, more the tilt / movement sensors being switched on with alarm that i want to have working.

Never know when some muppet will use the rangie as a way to slow down.Or not clean their windows on a nice frosty morning.

Cheers

I seem to recall there is a single wire from the becm labelled 'superlock' i don't have the balls to disconnect it though as i don't know what else it does it what else relies on it.
Would be a simple way to avoid issues though

How much for the dinosaur? I am missing that, Is that the P38 one? If not your in the wrong section....

You won't have any, your on them metal things, its only us with proper suspension that need spensive EAS diagnostic kit, impossible to get sensors and sleepless nights :p:D;)

Trust that instinct. Don’t go near things like that unless you really really need to. Really really

Mine has gone from hiding in the leaves to covered in quagmire. Scuttle has developed its own bio organic protection system from a totally renewable energy source. Clever things these RRs. New type of antibiotic growing on the acoustic shielding which I think may even be the cure for stupitdness. But the injun is nice and clean so that’s nice :)
