There have a horrifically short life span when u lift your car! :(

The first 1 lasted 3 months, the next 1 lasted 2 days till i went Rochdale today! :(

Both GKN too and the first 1 did 3 days at toms farm!

I'd suggest that if you're doing this mod it might be worth getting widemouth yokes and UJ's too. If the donut's feckin' up that quickly then there might be other causes not just your lift. I'd check that the prop joint is free and that the diff flange and bearing are in good order. Might be worth dropping the diff and checking the pinion-gear to shaft is straight, and that the crown wheel still has a full complement of teeth!

I've not heard of accelerated wear on donuts due to lifts as bad as this, they're normally expected to last a year or so of hard off-roading .. which might point to something else being wrong.

Had the same problem with mine, destroyed donuts in 300 miles so deceided to get shut of it. Mines lifted and I think it causes premature failure.

Need a 200tdi prop, they shuldn't have donuts, so if yur mates has its a bit of an odd one.

To get the yolk off the diff you need to heat it up to break the sealant down and wind in an M8 bolt i think to jack the centre out. You can then see the nut holding the flange.

The 4 bolt flange and spacer from a 200tdi / RR classic rear axle diff input will be needed along with the SPACER (bit awkward to get out as it sits below the oil seal) behind it. You will need to reuse the nut from the 300 diff as the threads are different of the 2 diffs.

If yu need anymore info just PM me.
