We're off to whaddon tomorrow. Kai wants to drive and we haven't been pay n play for a few weeks.

If anyone is up for it we'll be on channel 6 - would be great to see some friends there!

Cheers

Ryder

You know what... I don't think I have enjoyed Whaddon so much in a long time - dry enough to drive and wet enough to pose problems in places. Phil had a rare old time at the cliff and he was good ebough to let kai drive a few of the less challenging bits. Kai drove the water run at the top of the meadow by the cliff - mostly mud now the rain has been absent for a while but the look on his face was something special.

Quite a few people doing looney tune speeds around the course and a few going way too fast by the snack wagon so had to keep a really close eye on Luke.

Alan was there with his g/f - they seemed to have a blast as well!

Really sorry you couldn't make it Jai, you would have had a really cool day I am sure.

How about you... getting that Rangie stripped?

Looks like you all had fun. Did anyone get up the drop or did they go over the hump?

Gotta tell Kai off tho thumbs were inside the steering wheel through the muddy but. Tut Tut but he didn't get stuck! Whaddon is great for teaching the kids to drive. Looked like good fun. The vid is V cool,

Rangie,
I got the engine and gearbox out, gearbox looks pretty knackared but have been told its an easy ish fix apparently so will look into it needs stripping but somone reckons its a couple of hours to do. I really need a 4 speed box instead of the weak LT77. Hopefully will have the engine mounted in the chassis and the front radius arms all on for the weekend pending good weather etc.

Yeah I do keep trying to tell Kai about the thumbs, and he forgets every time! Still keep hammering it home and eventually it will stick!

hey well for a 10 year old he aint half bad is he really? I think he may well show up some offroaders when he competes at comps for sure.
