On a serious note did you see my other post about the cheap welding machine?? What you think of it?
you want a gas mig, gives A LOT BETTER WELD
you will struggle with a 100amp welder, 150 amp is minimum, 180-185 will be better, alot better.

100amp is for sheet metal work. Sorry but you asked. Go to a link I got for you. It will answer alot of questions for you

no 150 is minimum 180 will do anything you want to about 3/16 to 1/4" in a single pass. and thicker with multiple passes.

Tig is tungsten inert gas welding:D

And what benefits does that have over MIG?

Regrettably a 150 is more in my price range:frown:

well in short, if you can not weld it with TIG then it can not be welded. Was developed for aluminum, but you can mig weld aluminum, with a aluminum mig gun:D Look for a good used one they are out there, think 1 of the guys has/had one for sale.

PM coming your way
