OK, so I'm having all the rear bushes replaced on my Disco, radius arms next week, soon followed by the watts linkage and after chatting wiff me mechanic, he's suggested seeing if I can get my hands on another centre pivot and arms just to make the hole replacement process easier, and cheaper.
As I've already gone to the expense of purchasing all OEM bushes for the backend, does anyone know where I might get hold of another centre pivot and arms that aren't already pre-fitted with el cheepo bushes? I've seen the prices for a new OEM centre pivot, and that's just not happening
Mine are ok apart from the expected 13 years of surface rust and aren't damaged in any way, so would I just as well re-using them?

you can buy a new pivot assembly buts its 150 quid plus or you could try a breakers id just fit the new bushes in your arms and pivot,it helps to jack under the tow bar bracket so tank is lifted as high as possible above the axle

Thanks James, that's what I was thinking. The extra cost involved in trying to extricate the old bushes will probably be no more than another pivot anyway, so I suppose it's a six and two threes.
