After a snorkel, extended breathers and wadding plugs what other preparation / precautions have you guys taken to protect parts of the engine (also any other mechanical parts) from mud and water during off roading?

Which parts do i need to look after how's best to go about it?

Make sure that you grease the props, steering u/j's etc regularly. Also check for water contamination to the oils too. The sooner you change contaminated oil the better.

I recall someone talking about the power steering resovior having a vent that water could use to contaminate the fluid?

Also if running an air pump for air lockers that normaly needs a small snorkel of it's own.

regards

Dave
