I have water leaking into the rear of my discovery throu the speakers and
down the trim , I have resealed the alpine windows twice with silicone and
sprayed it with the hose no sign of a leak ,but when it rains water drips out of both the rear speakers. dont know if its relevant but the cars on the drive
which gives it a slight slope to the rear.:scratching_chin:

Yes Dr Evil I have got 2 sunroofs seeems a long way for the water to travel so did not give
them a lot of thought. I may be wrong I normally am [ask my wife] which body joint were you are thinking of

My kids used to dread getting in the back of my TDi on a wet day as everytime I went round a corner they'd get showered - poured in through the sunroof where the handle is. Sealed it shut with silicone, front one leaked like a sieve too, if you pressed the roof lining it was saturated. One of the things I don't like about Land Rovers....

At least water leaks only seem to happen to disco's when they've a little age to them, we've got a brand new Defender 130 at work that leaks in through the door tops and you can see daylight through the bottom of one of the doors! Character on an old one, just a bloody annoyance on a new one.

Nissan test their 4x4 range by leaving a cat inside. If it's dead by morning then the car is air tight and won't leak. Land Rover tried this one night but the cat was gone in the morning..... :D

Mine did the same, turns out it wasnt the sunroof, if you remove the trim surrounding the speaker you will most likely see a nasty bit of corrosion in the corner were the rear quarter meets the roof, its leaking in through the gutter.

Pain in the arse to stop, just need to wait for a dry day and treat it and silicone it up
