Hi all, thanks for your help with my earlier VCU issues. All sorted thankfully.

Latest questions relate to water leaking into the pasenger footwell. Its not rain but think it might be to do with the heater. I haven't been running the a/c but it appears worse when the temp is on cold. Any ideas - loose heater pipe perhaps?

The other thing is a weird feeling brake pedal. Brakes work fine but the pedal pushes back at me. At first i thought it was when the box downshifted but it isn't. Could the servo be overworking? It had some work done on the brakes before i got it, to do with the ABS although not entirely what exactly.

Neither is causing a major issue but would like to know any ideas please?

Thanks

Hi Adam,

PAssenger footwell water is very common and can be rain, condensation or AC. Lift out the skoosher and see if you have any probs there at the inside back on the wing. Dead common.

The ABS system on the P38 is ridiculously sensitive, on my journey to work, thereis a roundabout with a pothole on its approach - in the P38 when you brake towards the roundabout and go into the pothole, the ABS went mad each time....

Also the P38 doesn't use a servo, it uses a hydraulic boost pump and accumulator!

Thanks for the replies.

Couple of things - what is the 'skoosher'?

My RR is a Classic not a P38 but maybe the ABS is the same? Either way, it isn't when braking heavily, it is under normal braking.
