Had a whole series of problems. Indicators not working, central locking, engine not stopping, funny little symbol by the trip meter etc.etc. Put it down to the Body control module. Got a second hand unit. Got it fitted and programmed and then started to get problems again. Finally with a bit of research had a look at the interior fuse box and found the circuit board inside it soaking wet with damage to the track etc.

Got a replacement, fitted it. all OK now (so far)

Question is, does anyone know where the water is likely to be coming from? the box isn't attached to a bulkhead, I haven't got damp carpets and I can't see any obvious damp patches in that area. The water seems to have concentrated around the 3 large terminals on the back lower edge of the fuse box. No obvious sign of it running down from above.

Don't want all this happening again. Worst bit was when the central locking decided to superlock me inside the car and I couldn't turn the engine off without stalling it.

Used to get water in my fuse box , and most of the back of dash ,until I fixed my sunroof and windscreen leeks last year , not a drop in since . Was coming down the drivers front pillar into the dash ,

+1 on the windscreens. I had puddles in my footwells even after fixing the sunroofs and roof rails. Windscreen was the culprit.

have had similar to this with also flash m s symbols. Fitted new fuse box as old one full of water, switched ignition on for 5 mins to allow bcu and idm to communicate as per manual. Still does not work . I thought is was bcu at first, still getting all these problems that i had when old fuse box ,also the Hawk-eye I have does not see the BCU, everything else comms fine with Hawk-eye. Totally baffled help please..
