1997 300tdi auto with edc.
After quite a bit of oily work done on the vehicle I had the lower half of the engine plus the gearbox and transfer box steam cleaned at a truck wash.
All was good for about a mile then coughed and spluttered to a halt at the side of the road. Took about an hour of rough running intermittently running on 2 or 3 cylinders to clear the moisture from wherever it was causing trouble.
All seems fine now but where was the problem likely to have been? I know it was something "electrical" but interested in specifically what was likely. That way I can check everything is sealed as it should be.
