hi guys, had a nanocom evo connected to rr, it connects to some systems,
ie, hevac, but not to eas, the problem is the "35mph" warning,
rr sitting on bump stops, vehicle is, p38, 1999, 4.6, hse, thor engine,
fuzes/relay seems all ok,
so... right now i don't have a clue... (wots new there),
anyone think they can help????
thanx, Shaun.

Will more than likely be a problem with your OBDII socket. Each system uses a different pin.

ok............ OBDII ? assume its for nancom to plug in....
what to do to correct that?
i'm fine with nuts n' bolts....... electric stuff......... not!

shaun.

The OBDII socket is the connector under the glove box you plug the diagnostic device into....

it is a weel know spot for corrosion, and as such the little pins that hold the wiring in place corrode and snap off....

Drop the lower panel under the glove box, and look at the condition of the multitude of wires going to the multi-pin OBDII socket for signs of corrosion....

They can be repaired by re-soldering the connections, but it is fiddly to do in such a cramped space.

had a good look, all seems ok, clean and dry,
going to SAYERS RM, in feltham, thur am,
really good RR repair workshop,
had work done there before,
excellent!

went out to SAYERS RM today, (16 miles) no suspension!!, ouch!,
not fun, so plugged in, found fault, lhf, would not reset,
removed air pipe, attached air line, raised suspension,
now all working as before, (with eas fault),
looks like new bags/sensors sometime soon,
many thanx to simon who popped over on wed with his
nanocom evo,
and to Tony at SAYERS RM, really nice guys,
and to the forum, we would be ------ without you,
shaun.
