Do I need to say much or Will this do?
Do I need to say much or Will this do?
That's why I have an extra RRC in my drive. It's hard to find OEM in the States that don't cost more than I paid for my car. Now I can just go and remove bits from the spare as needed.
morning my child, hows the ego today ?
todays class in about snow tyre law.
ans as LZ is global, some of us (you) dont quite know the laws of usage of (wait for it SNOW tyres/winter driving tyres), so to allieviate this, a reading lesson for those who know everything there is to know about tyre laws during winter months.
Winter Tyres: Cold Weather Tyres: Snow Tyres
a good studious read through, but the ending paragraph is thus ->
WHAT IS THE LEGAL STANDING ON WINTER TYRES?
The UK currently has no legislation stating that drivers must use winter tyres. However if you travelling through Europe we suggest you check online for local legislation as some European countries have laws that state drivers must use winter tyres throughout certain months. Winter tyre law has become a talking point in the UK after the 2010 harsh winter and the UK could see winter tyre laws passed soon.
but then my child, as you know it all, you have no need to read through the link, as it is of no concern to you seculer types, only perhaps those within LZ who already are aware of such laws, and are not laws unto themselves.
more tea and toast needed as I`m late for my breakfast![]()

Good morning pops(don't mind do you? Remind me of my granddad on my dads side) My ego is as big as ever must blame that lass from Bristol flirting with me. Only knew about Norway Sweden due to the lad that introduced me to winter Tyre's was from Sweden and I have friends in Norway and travel there when I can. Very interesting read that was
. I hope they do require us in the UK to use winter tyre's as that would make our roads much safer for all of us modded and standard alike!
Optimistic ain't ya?

"Good morning pops"
no worries, form an orderly queue with that greeting
when I was "only" 42 I thought it far too young to be a grandad,
now that 13 year old calls me most mornings on her way to school bless her...
bloody wakes me up though
:smokin:
life goes on, as do the new days start, so must the days end,
the tides come in and then out, the buses run, the traffic hums,
and another day passes, while we wait for the next day to start..
Every vehicle is a compromise. If the locutor who sparked this thread doesn't know that then he should go and educate himself.
Most people are happy with that compromise so don't modify their cars. That's okay.
No-one does exactly what I want in a car but LR did something close. It's what I call a Starting Point and my vehicle will evolve from there. And it won't be getting massive tyres or a lift kit because they would make the car less useful to me. They may well make it more useful to somebody else though so go on, modify to your heart's content, as long as you keep it legal![]()
It seems most cars were broken up, but some servived
this Rangie has been kept as is
