I have a 9.5ti about 5 years old, not used often enough (once a month at most) and, now "dead". I can hear a click at solenoid but nothing from the motor. My garage stripped it and showed me the accumulated crud inside the motor. Sent off to someone who they have used in the past to repair/re-condition motors and he says "beyond economic repair" So, I'm looking at a new motor and making damn sure I at least spool in and out after submersion/soaking to dry out the motor. (I regularly go through a ford that creates bow wave to bonnet height.)

Any thoughts?/ suppliers of re-conditioned or new Warn motors. Am I unlucky, should I have winch "serviced" regularly?

thanks in advance

Mike
