WANTED - Outboard 10hp to 15hp

Hi all,

Any one got an outboard that want to sell and raise some cash for?

10hp to 15hp

Shortshaft.

Prefer 2 stroke, but 4 stroke also OK.

I got a short shaft mercury 7,5 two stroke electric start. was a good runner when I took it off the boat. £245

also got a short shaft mercury 7.5 two stroke manual start. no reverse !! £95

both for £275

postage might be a bit heavy to China though !!!!

Yeah, guess the posting to China is going to kill the deal.
Oh well, just as well I will be in UK for a couple of days later this month.

I will take you up on the 7,5hp manual if I don't find some thing bigger in the next two weeks.

If you dont get anything let me know, coz I'll have to dig it out of the garage and check if I've robbed any parts from it for the electric one. I don't think I have, but the grey cells are not as good as they used to be. and you did read the bit about no reverse. ? !!

Hi Chris,

It's only going on the back of an 3.0M inflatable.
I think as soon as the power is cut, it will slow down pretty quick.
it's only for messing about with, while we are in Spain.

In Spain, can't have more than a 10hp, or need to have the whole lot registered, which is a royal pain in the asse.

I would like a 30hp, but not at the risk of losing it all to the Spanish marine police.

ah. if it's to go on back of inflatable, it might not be suitable, as it doesnt have the 'sticky out bit' to control throttle / steer etc. It was fitted on my canal boat with steering wheel and remote throttle.
