reet over the past week i have replaced the king pins, bearings, rebuilt the brake calipers, swivel housing, track rod ends, adjusted steering box, power steering fluid changed, wheels balanced, tracking done and its all nice and tight now.

thing is it still likes to wonder quite a bit wether it be ruts from wagons or camber in the road surface or even dips or pot holes. its driving like a dream but this last hurdel is ****ing me off.

should i aim for the steering damper next??? cant see it leaking or anything and i can hear the hydraulics inside it working lock to lock on the ramp???
 
p.s i know the tyres gave a bit more when i swapped over but not as much as there is now just to eliminate tyres, plus it from about 50mph upwards you feel it the most. shocks are also being changed to a super gas kit in the next week or so. the origionals still work but bushes are worn, and on the rear totally shot!

From that list it sounds like all the work you've done is on or around the front axle, you might care to think about the back end as this can cause wandering as well.

For instance, the ball-joint on the "A" frame, is there any play? the rear tie rods that locate the rear axle has rubber bushes at both ends, what condition are they in? They're cheap to buy so why not replace them just to be sure?

my 110 was wandering quite a bit last year. I fitted an uprated and uprated gaz damper and it sorted it out lovely. Had to grind a bit out the mounting bracket to get it to fit though.
 
check the front panhard rod bushes as they make a large difference to the stability of the front end

Hi Stig, I'm not exactly sure which components you are refering to; can you offer any description or pictures of these bits, so that I can check mine?
 
checked stiggy, all is well, took it out tonight down some country lanes and i seem to get quite a bit of tail action and am starting to straiten the wheel earlier as if i was entering a bit of oversteer so gonna investigate the back end tomoz.
