Hi my disco 300 tdi 97 plate has started wandering. If i point it straight it wanders to the left then back to the right and so on. I replace 2 swivel bearings in the drivers side which one had completely collapsed, also a wheel bearing and new discs its been fine for a month apart from brake pad rattle (doh). Could the steering box be worn, everything else seems tight and ok,,,great site by the way and the Buster chap is a top boy
 
wobble the steering wheel and get someone to look at the play in the steering arms, to rule out steering box issues or track rod ends
does your vehicle have a lift on?
 
Steering column UJ's could be tight .. indeed any of the links in the steering .. ;)

I'll not mention obvious stuff like tyre pressures and wear ..
 
Might sound strange, but how's yer rear wheel bearings? Ah see ye've had the hubs off the front, might be an idea to recheck the bearings and nip them up a bit;)

just noticed toneet rear wheel bearin seal gone pumpin grease out so gonna change discs pads an sort that out check fronts as well
