VW Golf R32

In the big snow (over here) of 2011 whilst driving home in my TD5 disco we drove past a Golf R32 sat on a hill spinning all 4 wheels snaking about, basically holding up about 60 cars and causing gridlock for all manner of "normal" cars. Wide tyres and icy roads and a light ish car, made it useless. Don't get me wrong I nearly bought one and really like the look of them, but look elsewhere for a winter car.

Haha. I have always picked his cars for him. He wants 4WD. 5 doors and practical. I could only really come to the conclusion of that! Makes a great sound too .

Plus. Having had an XJR it's a downgrade in performance if anything. With 4WD it's even safer!

Audi S3 is a thought but the new ones in a 5 door are too much pony for what we're wanting to spend. I told him about a 4WD golf with less poke but he's told me to stop being such a 'pussy' .

He definitely doesn't get it from me!

HA HA... reminds me of when my mrs wanted a 4x4 and i bought her an evo6!!!!............

R 32 is good and hold their prices well. Build quailty on mk 5 aint very good in my opinion. German reliabilty maybe but im having a few issues with some of the internals- although mine aint a r32!

My other self has a mk4 r32 she loves it, few mods miltek remap coilovers, I would buy he s3 tho but this me, my advice wold be join r32oc.com and look on there,

I've been to a few meets with my other half and its all about how shiny everything is,

I took her to a landrover meet with the Yorkshire laneing lot and she couldn't belive it not just me that laffs when I've broken mine again,
