Very new and a virgin too....

...to the world of Landys, at least! I bought my first one last Saturday - a Defender 110 soft top and I bloody love it! (More importantly, so does the Missus and our two Labs!) I REALLY want a proper service - belts, injectors, plugs etc before I delve in and start playing myself, so if anyone could point in the direction of a firm in the Basingstoke are! It'd be really appreciated.

Oops already. It's a 2.5 ltr NA

belts are a good idea, Injectors are expensive and not necessary, unless you have a problem. Glow plugs would be good and cheap.

maybe timing belt/chain - not sure on the 2.25.....

hang on - 2.5 petrol or diesel?

2.5 N/A is belt driven. Worth changing if you dont know when it was last done

Thanks everyone. It's a diesel and you've confirmed what I wanted (needed) to get done...any advise on who to try (Keith Gott) did get a mention on another post I added.
