Got a 2002 FL1 v6 auto-did the one wheel up test-took over 2 minutes for 5kg to fall-took it to local garage who said " it looks like a pretty new one on there". When I do tight turns forwards or backwards it feels as if the transmission is trying to stop me. So......do I get a new VCU or leave it as it is?

at over 2 mins, worth removing it and sending it to bells.

Definitely remove it before the IRD goes bang. They all look like new on the outside, but it's the fluid on the inside that's important. 2 minutes is far to long for 5 Kg at 1.2M. Ideally the time should be under 45 seconds, preferably 30 seconds.
