If it’s a 300TDI they are similar but you may be better off asking in Disco/Defender section as 300TDI is more common in those models?
Wammers would know whatever engine you got in there though

I think he has an electrical issue rather than an engine issue, that's how I took it anyway.

Earth straps are favourite.

I would like to try one. my guess is L6 suits it better, but imagine it has some grunt in the mud

Thanks for all the abuse about my vault finding guide ha

any way am back from work and going to carry out the volt trouble shooting guide .

during the removal of the air intake to turbo noticed a little bit oil in there not much tho . And notice these vanes on my turbo cartridge don’t look normal could you tell me if these look standard or not
Will report back on what (vault) loss of any I find .

This is a 300tdi turbo unsure of type . Maybe should of put in in for the dico boys .

Normal to see a bit of oil as there should be a breather from the cam cover leading to the air intake to the turbo.

Yeh checked out let of turbo to , no oil running in the just needs to be cleaned . A just don’t think the cartridge look like a normal one ?

just found this look like it has upgraded turbo

looks like it’s been bored out to 42mm from 37mm There is slight play up and down side to side but no back and forth play result , correct me if I am wrong .

The fins shouldn't touch the sides, if you here any scraping on the sides (turning by hand) it fubar, if there's any play (try and wiggle them) again its fubar

Tried it earlier up and down slight but no back and fourth , al check for scraping in morning
