it wont work , turbo by its nature doesnt run a vacuum unlike a normally aspirated and even then you need it to be petrol with a butterfly

On engines where a vac gauge could be used you would tap in to the inlet manifold. If you put your foot down, the engine sucks air in harder and so the pressure drops in the manifold. The gauge displays this drop.
A turbo pressurises the manifold and so your vac gauge will not work.
