A large automotive company are looking to add a Quality Manager to their team due to growth. By the end of this year they have grown by an extra 20% and plan to do the same over the next 12 months. They are a specialist, precision engineering company who supply into various automotive OEM?s.

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for bringing the suppliers up to consistency with on time delivery and for developing and implementing APQP and PPAP processes, so proven experience in this would be very beneficial. Due to the nature of their business you will come from a CNC/Machine shop background, although direct experience on the machines is not essential. Ideally you will also have experience of working in high variance batch production and low volume one piece flow scenarios as this is extremely common within the organisation.

Must be able to lie through your teeth to customers, ensure they pay for work that isn't needed, and, most of all, be able to deny any knowledge of vehicles that are damaged, or blown up during an MOT by incompetent "trainees" :boom:

I was approached by halfords for a similar position. I only asked one question before I was offered an interview. They, even after checking lied to me.
I would not trust them in any way!
