My latest project

Please excuse the pewnie pathetic wheels and tyres

Was my mates old truck but he sold the 40's off it before i managed to prize it out of his possesion !

Its been stood up a few years since he built it so im busy recommisioning stuff

I like my Land Rovers unmolested and original. ;)

But another thing I like is the mooring at Rushden. Good quay, nice bollards, deep enough water, and lots of room. :)
Shame the facilities have been out of action for years.

No worries. TBH, the area immediately around the mooring is a bit grim. An empty football ground, and a huge industrial estate and car park, also looking a bit underused.
The mooring itself is nice, though, there aren't many decent places to moor on the Nene. And there is a good curry house in Irthlingborough, about 20 minutes walk from the mooring.

That motor will give kids nightmares. ;)
Watch the kill switch on the front the kids will turn it off at the traffic lights(yes don’t ask how I know)

I bought a delta speedboat off the Nene about 3 years ago, one owner for 40+ years it was a stunning wee craft :cool:

Lmao yer headlights are being replaced this week

Nightmares !! If they get a chance to sleep from the roar of the v8 then they deserve to be scared lol

The bridge is even worse if you are going under it in a boat. Probably the most difficult steer on the whole river, especially if you are going upstream.
