Surprising what you can find with the magnet. I have never found any grenades, but I have read about people pulling guns out of the water in quite a few places.

Added a few more bits to it and finally got the dodgy electrics rewired and working with new switches etc.

Just wider wheels to source now and swap the other lights for LEDs too

I would keep the wheels and tyres and change the truck:D
We all have our own idea of what we want and one of the great things about old Land Rovers is you can have one that looks like it just came off the production line or something totally different, yours is totally different but if you love it and enjoy it then, that's great good luck getting it sorted
 
Granted it may not be to everyones taste

I didnt realise the landrover scen was so bitchy though Kinda getting tired of all the Negativity shown towards my truck

If you dont like it thats fine ... i have no problem with that but having it rammed down my throat every five mins is it any wonder people dont bother talking at events and shows when this is what they come up against.

We all share the same passion and enthusiasm afterall but i wouldnt tear you a new arsehole because your truck is how it is .... however it is !

How wide you going on the wheels?

I got 33X12.5X15 on my Disco and they're huge!

Ignore the negativity or come back at them and tell them to pizz orf, I think it comes down to appreciation and acceptance, we have to do both, appreciate the level of capital investment made and the skills it takes to make/create/keep on the road and accept that it might not be to our own tastes but we ought not be negative towards those who try and be as helpful as we can when they need it :)

Currently sat on 33s myself

But plan is to go 40" as this is what it was originally built for
Sadly my mate sold them off before i got the truck and a new set are circa 1500
So will be riding on these for a while with 50mm spacers until funds allow
 
Found a half open lane earlier at Hargrave

I say half open as it said lane open if gates open so i proceeded then got to other end and had to turn around ! Luckily there was space or id been stuffed

Dont know why the gates arent open though completely

This lane was completely dry although fairly well overgrown and rutty but little damage on them and easily passable

Hopefully they will be fully open soon
