Hi my v8 injection disco has just died on me. Breakdown man put easy start in and she tried to fire. Belive petrol not getting to engine any help or advice?

HI not sure if pump working where is it located. Think i can here relay switch kick in but not sure where or how to check if pump working.

which one disco 1 if it is there are 2 relays next to each other behind drivers kick panel both have to work ,remove filler cap and you will hear it if running

The fuel pump is in the fuel tank it may be just the electric connector block.
I'm sure there's a thread or two on the subject on here try a search for Discovery fuel pumps

just checked to to see if pump working its not found relays dont think they are working so will start there. thanks for the advice much appreciated.

i once had a situation where the fuel pump stopped working one day. took it out, was working, gave it a few taps with the hammer for good measure.
has done over a 1000 miles on/off road and never missed a beat since, so perhaps just a temperemental one.
or a dodgy relay.
easy to get it running for the drive home though, just run a wire from your side lamp to the fuel pump supply and it'' get you home if its a relay fault.

hi just got back in from messing with car not fuel problem at all. Fuel getting to engine think its ignition module amplifier. coil working so just trying to souce one now its off.
