They are talking about merlin engines, 700bhp, and seemingly have/had orders for ten of the buggers. :eek:
I will investigate further............:cool:

They even seem to have kept the four wheel drive !!

Germans........I'll say no more...

It's a Bell Aurens Longnose;
GRIP - Land Rover Longnose - YouTube

It's really nice too :D

Ah, it seems the German authorities (SS), wouldn't let them stuff the 27 litre Merlin engine in it, and told them they could only use the Rover V8. This was the only one they made.................Shame..

The whole thing seems to be very well put together, I like it, and it still looks like a Land Rover, unlike some :D

I have vague memories of seeing a car with a Merlin, Spitfire, engine in it on Blue Peter or something when I was a child, sometime in the early 70's

i love the sound of a merlin engine ( the sheer noise and rumble pounding through yer rib cage )
sets the adrenaline raceing and youve only just turned the key :D:D:D:D

Here's the yellow thing, "the beast";

There's loads of cars with this monster engine, I reckon the Jerry's were too chicken to stuff one in :D
