Please look as soon as you can. I have received a pm which says I have a virus but, when I opend the 'virus checker' it recommends, it tried to infect me.

Please warn all people about this stupid message.

Ok guys,

The pm came from the Forum moderators!

Someone is purporting to be a forum moderator and is directing users to a website where a virus checker should be.

I know it's a common scam but when the email seems to come from the moderators I think that the moderators should track this guy down and string his balls up from the nearest tree.

The grammer gives you a slight hint that it's a foreigner with crap english language skills

There is no such thing as 'teammoderator'. Anyone who is asked for sponsorhip money or any other money under this name can feck off cos I aint gonna run NO marathon and I'm pretty sure Si aint either.:eek::D:D:D


If you get a genuine pm or email from a mod, admin or whatever on landyzone it will have the user name of that person on it.

Sirus and myself also tend to use pm's rather than emails. I'm not sure what Accy and Roy's weapon of choice are though.

If anybody else gets an email from 'teammoderator' Just ignore it. It's fake

If it says 'oi ya spamming bastid' or similar and has a name of the sender then it's genuine.:p:p:p

If you want to deposit money in my bank account the account number is 71077345, the sort code is 69-69-69.

Please send all funds in GBP.
