When I was training to be a prison officer I had the misfortune to chat to some serial car thieves ata Cat C we were visiting. They think it's funny and genuinely relish in the misery and problems they cause real hard working people!

Having had my 300 nicked last week, I know how it feels and can sympathise with all you poor f*ckers who've had one nicked!

Should all be strung up
 
I am hoping to pick up my 98 Defender 110 in 2 weeks...reading these stories kinda make me nervous...I will have an immobilizer and will add a centinel clutch claw..do you think this would be alright? I will live out in the country in Oxfordshire....
 
if you have a td5 defender you can get a secod hand rover 75 or disco 2 key and programme it to acitivate the build in alarm/immobilizer. if you wanted to go further get another as-10 alarm unit (model ending 280 not 270). so you can fit central locking then remove the front door lock altogether
 
I recently bought a DiskLok. I was having trouble finding one as in Land Rover's we need a large size.

I needed one pretty sharpish so having ringing every motor shop and alarm specialist I couldn't find anyone who sold them.

I ended up ringing DiskLok themselves and it turns out they don't have any UK Wholesalers for a Large size, you have to order it from them direct.

It's not too bad, next day delivery if you order during the week, I got a free Bag for my DiskLok too. Only problem is for a Large size these days it's £92.99 but that's a small price to pay to stop the bastard's having it away. Thankful for the free postage though!

Got mine from Halfords, but buying direct from Disklok is the way forward. Congrats on your purchase.
More lannie owners need to get one of those.
They are cumbersome but they mean business :)
 
I got my large disklok from a firm that sells them on e bay there is loads of them on there. prices from £86 including post for a new large size one
