Can anyone help? I need a part ASAP. For the past year, I have had problems with my clutch. We have finally identified that the issue is a pipe, which I have mentioned before. It is the pipe that has a plastic pigtail and joins onto a long piece that I believe goes to the slave cylinder. The part number is STG101032. It appears that this part is unavailable from LR or anyone else. Only suggestion is a salvage yard. Could anyone suggest where I might be able to get the part from. Thanks.

Shows as out of stock ( Did the OP buy the last one ??)

Your local hydraulic hose place should be able to make you one - or fit a new flexi to your existing ends ......

MF Hydraulics is not far from me and I will phone them tomorrow. My only concern is that I need it by Saturday. I don't know if they will be able to do it by then. I looked on John Craddock website and they imply it maybe in stock. Again, I will phone tomorrow. I am trying to cover all bases. Any further suggestions? Thanks to those who have already responded.

Discool - I have been in touch with a supplier who advertises it and they do not have it in stock. Last time I looked, this was the case with all suppliers. Hopefully, someone will have one in stock.

Might be too late for today, but I'd follow the google links and telephone them and make them check stock till you find one actually in stock then .. :)

Our local hydraulic agent makes them while you wait if their not too busy.

I have someone who can fit it for me on Saturday. Issue I have with Hydraulic agent is that I will have to remove the pipe. Due to a recent shoulder operation, I am unable to do this. I will just keep phoning people tomorrow. I was hoping someone might know a place who had them in stock. If you don't ask, you don't get. I really do appreciate everyones' responses.

Neilly - you are quite right, you did. Following the issue with it, I opted for a well known Landrover Specialist, who at the time had a salvage pipe in. They reported there was no issue with the pipe as it was perfectly dry. They did however point out about £2000 of work that would be needed. perhaps I should have insisted more. However, from what I recall, someone wanted £250 to change this pipe. I was therefore relieved when they said there was nothing wrong!

If you get stuck on removing it then I might be able to pop over and help out.

Cheers
That is very kind of you. If I can find a part tomorrow, I will take it to a mechanic. If I can't, I will have to see what I can do. I need to take it to Plymouth to pick my son up from Uni on the 10th. I go back to work on the 5th - bad timing!

The other option is I know a guy who breaks Discos over near Gt Milton.

If you know the exact pipe you need he may have one. Which at worst case could be used as a template for one of the hydraulic pipe places.

Cheers

That's a good point. I did contact him last time and he had just sold it to the company who looked at my Disco. He might have a damaged one, which wouldn't matter. Another call tomorrow!

This is getting absolutely ridiculous. I have worked through google and noone has the part in stock. All state it is on back-order. This has been the case for over 3 months. I have tried Hydraulic manufacturer and they have stated it cannot be done, due to the flexible pipe. Clutch fluid will perish their pipes. I have tried a breakers and the part they have is close to perishing. I will keep ringing round. I just can't believe that in this day and age, only landrover can arrange for the part - absolute nonsense! I am back at work next week and have no transport. Fingers crossed.

Hi @Kingly

I have just spoken to MF, they say the best thing to do is take the pipe down for them to look at and see if they can do it.

I would suggest getting the part from the the breaker, as a template and takingit down to MF and getting them to look at it.

The Clutch uses the brake fluid which should be DOT4.

Cheers
