Urgent I can't get in

Hi all,

Just come to unlock my 94 300tdi and it won't let me the light on the remote flashes as normal and the led below the radio
is flashing like normal and I don't have a spare remote any suggestions?

hi bigray, i had the same problem, you need to unlock the car with the key then put the key in the ignition within 10 seconds to take the alarm off, you will the need to replace the 15amp c/locking fuse which is under the steering wheel, then all should be fine.

Thanks for all the advice. The Disco is home now but came on the back of a Recovery truck. I'm told there is a code you can put in using the door lock does anyone know how to get hold of this also is it possible to programme a new remote in?

A Land Rover main dealer will supply the code, look in the owners handbook or search the forum for the info on how to enter it, and as u have a single button fob it is possible to program a new one.

Well after some chasing around Land Rover tell me they haven't got a record of the EKA code for my car. I rang one dealer that wanted £50 to get it (thats before I spoke to Land Rover directly) another would do it for free but didn't have it so rang Land Rover directly and got a call back saying they didn't make a record of it for my car they usually do but not for this one typical!!!

Got to the point now where I have called an auto electric place who are coming to pick the car up and hopefully bypass the Alarm and Immobiliser.
