Urgent help required hawes greenlaning

I was just wondering if there is anybody near to hawes who could help us out
my friend has snapped his rear trailing arm. if someone has a spare or a welder we can borrow if we can get it moving it would be greatly appreciated

my number is xxxxxxxxx because the internet keeps dropping off and I've walked a mile and a half to get signal

it's a 200 tdi j reg defender...

please help us out if you can

Dont have either of those things, but if anyone else does I will be happy to drive it up for you

Got nrgserv on the phone, he might have one, need length from mounting on axle to mounting on chassis and the width of the part that goes into the axle.

More information, they need a UJ which I have in my Landy anyway and a welder, which I dont.

Have contacted simmi.
Needs a uj.
Have suggested removing prop and running in 4wd.

we don't need trailing arm. just a welder and a uj foe the prop

Why a welder?

apparently because the radius arm has snapped off the axle. communicating via cb as two of the landys managed to get back down. its for defender11069. needs a UJ aswell

Have spoken to Neil, he is going to look at this thread and see if there is anything he can do.

I have a UJ but according to Neil there are two types. My Defender is a j Reg 200tdi

The one I have says the following

Bearmach TVC100010 U3/803246 Universal Joint - HD

trailing arm or radius arm? (trailing arm on backaxle, radius arm on front axle)
which bit has snapped off? bracket on axle or arm its self? do i need steel to plate the repair?
how trashed is the prop? again front or back?
as mhm sez can be driven without the prop with diff locked.
are you in a situation where the motor can be extracted to tarmac in 2 wheel drive?

if i can get a bit more info, may be able to help!

can do welder, trying to establish which arms buggered and if other bits are needed to effect a repair.
a location of which lane might be good too! (pm it if neccersary)
