Hi have a 01 Discovery TD5 Auto and whilst servicing i discovered a recess which appears to be for a stud with an internal screw threading on the bell housing on the bottom side of it forward of the sump on the main gear box -- Have i a problem

no - drain plug hole - only plugged if wading.
