err soo, one of my drop links disconnected earlier, and my friend was driving it and the red ace light came on, but he restarted it and it went off.
He also said he thought he ran over a bottle of some sort cause fluid exploded out of the wheel well. Replaced drop link and just realised fluid is gone, so topped it up but it won’t draw it in. Did have a delivery job on tonight..
Is this a case of having to remove the pump and turning it on it’s side?
No it hasn’t siezed but there’s no flow.. any easy fix?
The ram is pretty new and I’m guessing it extended too far but it looks fine now

Haven't had this issue myself but I think it is remove outlet and spin by hand
Hope it’s that, seems a bit simpler.
Do it tomorrow now anyway, cancelled job. Just hope I didnt bugger the new ram.. even know it looks fine.

Err got all that done, filled it up to find the high pressure front line has burst.. there goes fluid again.
Spent hours finding a shorter belt and have bypassed the ace pump for time being till all new pipes and block done. Just ding ding ding inside now. Don’t think Hawkeye can disable ace?

No it can't.... untill you fix it unplug the ECU behind the glovebox and make a bridge with a piece of wire in the plug across pins 11 - 36 as in the pic, and let it so, then you'll have it disabled

Yes it will, the long term outcome will be hearing loss
Some say I already have that, so I won't worry too much

oh and, that thing you said about it needing calibrating because of my hard ride quality might just be right, its running much smoother right now..

Full write up and pics to follow tapped block and new pipes :)

Hmm Question...
Is running the system like this much different to running it with no arbs on there at all? Or will removing them temporarily make it roll even worse?

As long as there is oil in the rams the system will still provide some anti roll cos it's in locked bars condition so better than with no arbs
