Just bought a 1966 series 2. My first Land Rover. Past owner had for 8 months and always used unleaded. Is this ok? Can I continue to use unleaded or should I use a lead substitute? Cheers. Andy

it depends wehether the valves/valve seats have been replaced with those suitable for unleaded petrol - if not - No.

find out how many miles he's done in that eight months and if possible talk to the owner before him. if its done a significunt mileage iu's say it wur ok to use unleaded
