Hi all,

I am trying to change out the pipes on my TD5 due to a leak but the connection that screws into the pump just won't let go. I am using a flared nut spanner but I can feel that the nut is about to deform if I give it any more force. Does anyone have any good tips on undoing a really stuck pipe connection?

Stilsons will grip it like fuck if you can get a pair in their.
Or is it an imperial fitting size and you're using the nearest metric equivalent..

Snap the pipe off as lose as possible (don't cut or the sawdust will damage your box) then stick a good fitting, 6-sided if possible, socket on the nut.

Thanks,

I am pretty sure its a metric as it saids in the manual and the pipe looks like an original lr item. althought i havent tried a imperial.

I the space is quite tight there, so not sute if i can get a stilsons in there. I thought about sawing and using a socket but didnt think about saw dust. Probably give it another try and see if it goes, if not then snapping off seems to be the best option...
