Im all for upgrading your motor, as long as the stuff is made for it etc...

a sport and p38 were not made to work together !

the thing that gets me... it may sort of look like a sport on the outside
(from a long distance)

but as soon as you look inside.... an old banger !

no one seems to update the interior

agreed! All for facelifts etc like td5 disco or l322 like yours but that just looks wrong! may as well make a P38 look like a ford focus! and yeah they never touch interior just black out windows so no one can see the interior or them driving it!

It is interesting if you look at Raj's facespace, it started out life as a very nice looking green P38. Ruined

theres actually a couple of P38's round my part of "ESSEEX" that have tried to fit L322 lights and grilles to their P38's...

I do get some funny looks from them when i drive past laughing

anyone want to own up to these motors ??

They wont own up! i would pass laughing to! its really unsafe to have on a road as from laughing so hard u pass out and crash :/ ! If you have a P38 accept a P38 is what u can afford and don't spend your savings on l322 lights save up longer n buy real thing!!!

bit like me spending money making mine look like a facelift model - just as bad i guess..... lol

thing is, they look identical now, par some minor changes in the interior.

im still going to buy the real thing though.. i want that 4.4 TDV8 beast !!

give it a few months

then i can whip off my 2011 bits of my TD6 and fit them to the TDv8 ! :rofl:

Hahaha! Faceliftings good! Just aslong u do it properly not like then people do a m3 one on a 3 series and just slap loads of stickers on it and just change the front bumper so ends up like 2" lower than rear tdv8 makes me drool thinking about it

Id personally go for the petrol supercharged on lpg would be far cheaper to run plus faster! But in real world a derv v8 is more practical as you can fill up anywhere

Give it a year for the L405 to flood the second hand market. L322 prices will bottom out. By the 3 year mark (when MoT Tests start) L322s will be going for as much if not less than the P38 is now.

I've filled up everywhere I have been...admitedly you do have to plan ahead sometimes i.e. there is only one place on the Isle of Wight that does LPG and it is about 10p a litre more than the mainland...but I have never had an issue filing up!
