hey, am i able to swap from my 225/70 16 tyres to 265/75 16 tyres. and keep my rims?? i appoligies if this is a stupid question but i dont understand tyres and wheel sizes.

cheers!

the tyres will fit yer rims, but whether they'll fit under yer arches is anuvva matter.
would elp if yer told us what landy yer got.

got a disco 1. im pritty sure ill have to cut my arches out, and i need to replace my springs soon any way so im going to put a 2inch lift on it.

Got same size AT's on my Disco 1 they do go on with standard suspension but they catch on the rear when heavily loaded or over uneven terrain :( .......... now where's me angle grinder ......

Not entirly sure, if mainly used on the road probably not but as your fitting a lift and bigger tyres I'd guess it's not always gonna be on the road.

I dont think they need butchering just trimming back mainly just the return lip of the arch. Mine only seem to catch at the very bottom back edge of the rear arches. I think you can get templates of where to cut as it's a common modification known as a "camel cut". But i think I'd just fit em and see where you need to work them.
